SHORT BIO
I founded AMPHITRITE in December 2021 with two colleagues to promote concrete applications of our research work at the CNRS and the Ecole Polytechnique. We were among the first scientific teams to develop an AI technology to fuse multiple satellite observations. This technology leads to a new generation of highly reliable and accurate ocean data. During the last twenty years I’ve conducted several research projects related to numerical modelling, oceanographic campaigns and satellite data processing through Machine Learning. For over six years, I have also directed the international master’s program STEEM at Ecole Polytechnique dedicated to the energy transition. Aware of the urgency of climate change and the stakes for industry we have developed innovative solutions to reduce the fuel consumption and cut shipping emissions.
